We support the Austin Baptist Community Center with prayer and food. We support the Baptist Chapel which provides a hot meal to hundreds of homeless and hungry people throughout our community each day. We offer financial support to SBC World Hunger Offering, a Christian organization committed to the alleviation of hunger around the world. Among our other activities are prayer and financial support for Mercy Trips: a group of doctors who, once a year, go to Uganda to offer medical service to the people. Christmas finds us filling shoe boxes with goodies for Operation Christmas Child through Samaritans Purse. We also have 3 large annual mission offerings to support missionary work across the globe:Annie Armstrong Easter Offering - supports North American Missions through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention (spring). Mary Hill Davis Offering - supports missions in Texas through the Baptist General Convention of Texas (fall). Lottie Moon Christmas Offering - supports international missions through the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention (winter).
